MANCHESTER CITY lost more ground in the Premier League title race as Rico Lewis was sent for an early shower.
Match Report
A goal apiece either side of half-time saw the reigning champions unable to register back to back league wins for the first time since October.
Daniel Munoz had given the Eagles a flying start four minutes into the game.
However, Erling Haaland was on hand with a looping header on the half an hour mark to equalise with his first league goal since the 2-1 win defeat to Brighton in early November and move him joint with Mo Salah in the golden boot race.
It was a similar story in the second half, with Maxence Lacroix rising highest at a corner swung into the far post to head into the top corner.
But some superb team play saw City carve open the Palace defence before Lewis was played through on goal and curled a shot into the top corner leaving Dean Henderson with no chance.
