Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino continues to use talented youngster Ian Maatsen ahead of Cucurella as a substitute for Ben Chilwell this season. During pre-season, according to the Evening Standard, the Blues boss told Maatsen he wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge this season - hinting that he would be used often in the senior team.

Cucurella is yet to make an appearance this term and has been an unused substitute in all three of Chelsea's opening Premier League fixtures - whilst Maatsen has come off the bench twice.
