According to David Ornstein's latest publication, Jose Mourniho is Florentino's favoured head coach candidate, and the selection process was driven by Perez.
David Ornstein said that Mourinho is the choice of Real Madrid president Florentino to replace Arbeloa as head coach. Arbeloa was appointed in January to replace the sacked Xabi Alonso, but he is now expected to leave after the season.
Several anonymous sources (because they were not authorized to comment) told The Athletic that the choice of Real Madrid's next head coach is led by Florentino.
TA said that Florentino hopes to rebuild this dilapidated project, and Real Madrid is about to fail to win major trophies such as La Liga, the Champions League or the Copa del Rey for the second consecutive season.
The president is now the principal supporter of Mourinho's return, but there are also some within the club who object.
TA previously reported that Real Madrid had considered US team coach Pochettino as one of Arbeloa's successors. France coach Deschamps has also been mentioned internally.
Although former Liverpool coach Klopp has repeatedly stated publicly that he is satisfied with his current job at Red Bull, he has long been admired by Real Madrid's senior management.

Whoever becomes next RM head coach,Florentino needs to change his football philosophy by giving the head coach 💯 right to perform his duties without any interference.

I became Chelsea fan cos of the special one. I followed him to Man u, then to Tottenham and even to Fenabache...a name i had never heard off. Madid has a plus 1 come Mourinho . He is competitive and combative. He is a super star coach before whom no super star footballer should mess up. I can without doubt manage the egos of Vini and Mbappe. Vini must return to form...start scoring or make quick passes...no unnecessary dribbles that lead to dead ends.

So if winning a treble and champions league two times is what you call retiring it, I accept. But the world knows the level of damage that Pep Guardiola did to Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid at large.
