According to the latest news from the Daily Mail, Sancho will not have a chance to return to Manchester United in the winter transfer window, as his loan contract does not include a release clause for January.
In a Premier League match last Sunday, Aston Villa defeated Manchester City 1-0 at home. Jadon Sancho came on as a substitute but was substituted again. Villa manager Unai Emery stated after the match that the decision wasn't easy, but it wasn't a punishment; it was a tactical decision.
According to the Daily Mail, Sancho was clearly furious about the decision. He reportedly stormed off the pitch, ignoring the manager's attempts to explain the tactical change.
This was only Sancho's second Premier League appearance for Villa. In September's 1-1 draw against Sunderland, he only played eight minutes. Villa currently cover 80% of Sancho's £200,000-a-week wages for his entire loan spell, a situation Manchester United will undoubtedly be closely monitoring.
However, the Daily Mail recently reported that Sancho will not return to Manchester United before the end of the season because his loan contract with Aston Villa does not include a release clause for January.
