Dani Ceballos hints at Arsenal transfer exit after Gunners' draw at Chelsea

Dani Ceballos hinted he will not be staying at Arsenal beyond the end of his season-long loan spell after the Gunners' 2-2 draw against Chelsea .

Ceballos is currently at the Emirates on a temporary arrangement from Real Madrid but is yet to appear for the club since recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in November.

He was on the bench at Stamford Bridge and saw his depleted teammates twice come from behind to snatch a point in the London derby.

David Luiz was sent off early in the piece following an error by centre-half partner Shkodran Mustafi, with Jorginho converting from the penalty spot.

Gabriel Martinelli levelled for the visitors after the break before Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta restored the Blues' advantage.

But Hector Bellerin's late strike earned a deserved draw for Arsenal , and Ceballos had a message for his teammate after the game.

In reply to Bellerin's post on Instagram , Ceballos wrote: "I’ll miss those goals with the left foot bro! You deserve all the good that happens to you."

Despite Ceballos' lack of action, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists he is still part of his plans between now and the end of the campaign.

He said earlier this month: "Dani had an injury where he was out for almost two months and had to go to Madrid for his rehab.

"He came back and in the first few weeks, I didn’t think that he was physically at the level to compete for starting games.

"It’s true that I have players in that position who have been performing really well, and last week when I believed that he was ready to step in, I decided to pick another player.

"But he’s been training good, I’m happy with him and I know him really well, so there’s no issues there."
