Bayern Munich and Austria full-back David Alaba is on Madrid's agenda, his father and agent told AS on Friday afternoon.
Bayern Munich defender David Alaba is on the agenda of Real Madrid, his father and agent told AS on Friday afternoon.
George Alaba: "We'll see what happens in the summer"
“Everyone knows that Real Madrid are really interested in David, but we can’t say anything right now,” George Alaba said.
“We’ll see what happens in the summer,” he added. “Now isn’t the moment to discuss who is interested in him. Everyone already knows of Madrid’s interest, it’s no secret. But right now there’s nothing to say. He has to wait and see at the end of the season.”
David Alaba, 25, still has three years on his contract at Bayern Munich. Although predominantly a left-back, the versatile Austria international is comfortable in the centre of defence and midfield.

Madrid have the best left back in the world, Alaba joining Madrid would be a step back in his career and a step forward for another world class player wasting his prime sitting on the bench. People may argue, that he can be utilised else where as well, but let's be honest Ramos will not be as effective playing right back as he does when he's central and neither will Marcello play the way he does at left back when you place him at centre back, Alaba is a left back and with Marcello in there, he doesn't stand a chance.

When Roberto Carlos was at the end of his best days Marcelo hadn’t started his yet but the potential was there. Marcelo still has some ways to go and Alaba is more than potential- he’s one of the best, and young. Real Madrid are starting their next Galacticos. Will be a top transfer if they achieve it.
