Beckham pokes fun at wife after their reactions to Inter Miami's comeback win

David Beckham poked fun at his wife Victoria after her muted reaction to Inter Miami's thrilling comeback win in the Concacaf Champions Cup.

The former Spice Girl took up a place alongside her husband  - and co-owner of the MLS side  - for their quarter-final second leg against LA FC on Wednesday night.

But while Beckham, their second-eldest son Romeo and club officials headed and kicked every ball from the sidelines, Victoria was unmoved as she witnessed the spectacle.

This drew taunting from Romeo, who posted on Instagram: 'Come on Mum join in' followed by a laughing emoji.

Victoria responded with a message of her own, joking: 'Still trying to figure out the rules!'

Finally, Beckham wrote: 'And they say my wife's not into football. How dare they. Emotions were running high in the stadium last night for most of us. I love you [Victoria Beckham] I know you love it really, always by my side.'

The family were treated to a rip-roaring encounter between the MLS rivals as goals from Lionel Messi and Federico Redondo completed a stunning turnaround to hand Miami a 3-2 aggregate win.

The Argentine's heroics came just a day after Beckham joined Messi for a training session at Florida Blue Training Center. flashed his dazzling white smile while cutting a casual figure in a navy T-shirt, jeans and fresh white trainers while enjoying his morning coffee.

Meanwhile, Messi was dressed in his eye-catching pink strip and yellow boots as he strolled onto the pitch.

Miami are unbeaten after their first six games of the new MLS campaign.

It comes after David and Lionel partied with Tom Brady and other A-list sporting legends as the stars descended on his swanky early 50th birthday party in Miami.

The former England captain, who doesn't actually turn 50 until May 2, posted several pictures from the bash at the Cipriani Downtown Miami in Florida on Sunday.

Among them was a picture with Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and NFL legend, and basketball great Shaquille O'Neal.
