De la Fuente was born on June 21, 1961, making today his 65th birthday.
The only other coach to achieve this was Portugal's head coach António Oliveira, who was 50 at the time, during the 2002 World Cup. On June 10, 2002, he led his team to a 4-0 victory against Poland on his birthday.
