Bad refereeing decisions happen in all leagues either intentionally or unintentionally but what is most known is that in Spain. Do you know why? Because of the biggest rivalry in club football in the world. There is no rivalry in football history greater than that between Barcelona and Real Madrid. So whenever anything small mistake goes against Barcelona, Barcelona fans will be crying everywhere. When Madrid is favoured, still Barcelona fans will be crying everywhere so as to humiliate and discredit Madrid. Madrid fans also do the same. And for Madrid, I think for them it's worse. They want to behave as if they have the capacity to win everything if they are not cheated. They are good at presenting themselves as victims. They know how to cry loud. When you hear them crying, you may think that they are a holy football club. You may think that they have never benefitted from bad refereeing. So Madrid and Barcelona fans are the ones who make bad refereeing in Spain get known everywhere. But in leagues like French League 1, cheating will be there but it may not be easily known because they don't have many fans worldwide and there is no stiff rivalry.
