Dejan Kulusevski has opened up on Harry Kane's future amid the constant speculation over a move to Bayern Munich and how much he is enjoying playing under Ange Postecoglou

Dejan Kulusevski has stated that the Tottenham team will do "everything" to make Harry Kane stay at the club this summer. Now in the final 12 months of his Spurs contract, Bayern Munich are intent on striking a deal with Daniel Levy to lure the 30-year-old to the Allianz Arena.

Speaking to the media after the game, the Swede was asked about Kane's future and admitted that it would be beneficial to have his future sorted out ahead of the new season.

"You saw. He scored four goals, so very good! Nah, he's unbelievable. Honestly, his mentality... I can learn from him like everybody," said the 23-year-old. "He just goes out and performs day in, day out. He's a true professional.

"I'm happy I helped him score today but of course we want him to stay and we'll do everything to make him stay."

On if it would be a benefit to having Kane's future sorted out, he added: "I think it would. On the other hand, you can only control what you can control. We players cannot do anything about it. We work our hardest, try to stay ready and the players that manage it, it's up to them."

"I like him a lot. Also at half-time he was very angry because we stopped playing for five minutes and you cannot be like that. You have to play always," said the ex-Parma man. "Just because you're tired, you [can't] let them have the ball. Things happen like that. So I like him a lot and I'm looking forward to improving under him."

"He said we always have to play. Don't shoot away the ball, don't stop pressing, don't waste time. Always play, play the same and don't think about the score or the time. Just play and have fun."

"Yeah, a little," he admitted. "Last season, maybe we scored one and then we tried to protect the result. So of course we have to improve but second half was very very good."

The Tottenham team are already taking on Postecoglou's football philosophy with the players really making an impression in the final third. There's plenty more to come from Spurs under the Australian, though, as it will take time for the players to fully take everything on board.

"Yeah, everything takes time in life," said the Stockholm-born player. "But the thing is we really really have to believe in it. It's not enough if he's trying to make us believe. We all have to do it. But we're in a good way, I think. This was the first game when we played 90 minutes. We're happy, we ran a lot. It was quite good."

He added: "It is fun actually. I love it. You have to be physically very good, I love that too. I'm enjoying having a lot of ball higher on the pitch. So I'm very grateful to have him."

Kulusevski knows exactly what the head coach wants from him over the coming seasons. Making such a monumental impact at the club immediately after his loan move from Juventus, Spurs fans, and the player himself, will be hoping that he can get back to his previous heights after contributing with five goals and eight assists in 18 games.

"I know exactly what he wants from me," he said. "He wants me to attack the box much more when the balls are on the side and when I have the ball just go all the time and don't care if I lose it. Just keep going.

"I always have a target but I just to play the game on the right and then everything will come. Today I did two assists: I'm very happy because usually when I start making those, the goals come after. So I'm very satisfied."
