Dembele travels to Finland for his operation

Ousmane Dembele has headed to Turku, in Finland, where on Tuesday he will take surgery on his hamstring injury which he suffered in training.

The Blaugrana winger will be operated on by Sakari Orava, the prestigious surgeon. Dembele previously had an operation on his other leg in Finland when he suffered a hamstring injury in 2017. That time Lasse Lempainen, a disciple of Orava, did the surgery.

Dembele flew to Finland from El Prat airport ahead of the surgery. The Blaugrana will publish a new medical statement after the intervention, where they will estimate his approximate time out. Previously after surgery he missed 106 days. Dembele has had four injuries this season.
