Denis Suarez is beginning to wake up from his Barca 'dream'

Denis Suárez is beginning to wake up from his dream. The midfielder sees less and less chance of him succeeding at Barça and believes his future might be at another club. The number '6' is angry at not playing week after week and Denis understands that he's at a point in his career where he can't 'stop' for too long.

It isn't that the situation has gotten worse either. Maybe in terms of minutes it has but Denis has been a backup for years now. However, the midfielder approached the situation with patience and was convinced he would turn things around. He never wanted to listen to offers - and there's been plenty. Napoli, in particular, were desperate to sign him. However Denis had his mind clear and his dream was to be a success at Barça.

The explosion of Carles Aleña into the first team picture might be the straw which broke the camel's back. Barça are leaning towards the younger Aleña and that means Denis has an even harder task ahead of him.

As such Denis has asked his representatives to speak with the club and to decide if it's best that he looks for a move away. This wouldn't happen in January but rather next summer. The player won't be lacking for offers and he has the time from now until the end of the season to make a decision. If his situation doesn't improves this could be Denis' last season at the Camp Nou.
