Arsenal have agreed a loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez until the end of the season, say various reports in Spain.
RAC1 and Cadena Cope are among the outlets to report upon the news, which will see the Gunners hold a non-compulsory purchase option at the end of the campaign.
Various reports have linked the 25-year-old with a January transfer and he has only played 17 minutes of La Liga action this season and is mainly deployed in the Copa del Rey.
The midfielder, formerly of Sevilla β where he played under Arsenal boss Unai Emery β and Villarreal, joined the club from Manchester City in 2013 and has just 18 months left of his contract at the Camp Nou.
There are suggestions that such a move will see Denis extend his contract by a further year until June 2021, to protect Barca against a financial loss.

Dennis Suarez and Ivan Perisic would be great signings for us, however it certainly won't solve our defensive crisis. Yes we do need wingers but we badly need defenders more than anything atm

Even without all the injuries, Arsenal are very much a club of decades past. I say this as a very knowledgeable Arsenal fan. Xhaka is not a top 6 player and on top of that played out of position, yet he gets an extension. Misinlat brought in real talent like Auba and Torreira, yet he leaves a year later and will no doubt be hired by a better club as soon as he wants. They spent on Auba and Laca, but their net spend was still 0 as they sold so many mediocre players. So why on Earth do they constantly come up with the line...we have no money??!! It is incredibly damaging to the brand as they have fallen behind the Manchesters , Chelsea and Liverpool... and now Tottenham are pulling even when it comes to revenue.. look to Liverpool (who only recently starting earning more) spending 75 mil on VDijk, 75 mil on Alison, and even 50 mil on bench players like Keita to show you what pushes team to compete. These are facts.
