Chelsea are second favourites to win their Champions League group.
A winner as a player with Chelsea in 2012, standing in Lampard's away of reaching the knockout stages are Valencia, Ajax and Lille.
On paper it looks like a winnable group, but website FiveThirtyEight doesn't agree.
They've crunched the numbers and have placed the Blues as slight second favourites behind Ajax - last season's semi-finalists -to emerge as group winners.
The great news is that the probability of Chelsea finishing second is 31% which means a place in the round of 16 - although that could mean a tougher two-legged tie.
Valencia - who reached the Europa League semi-final last season - haven't been given too much of a chance of sealing a top-two finish and are backed for another run in European football's second tier club competition in the new year.
Chelsea face Valencia on Tuesday and warmed up for the clash at Stamford Bridge with an impressive 5-2 win over Wolves at the weekend.
