According to Di Marzio, Como player Assane Diaw suffered a left thigh muscle injury during a match, which instrumental tests confirmed as a first-degree flexor strain. He is expected to be sidelined for 20 days.

In Como's 3-2 loss to Feyenoord, the Serie A side not only lost the match but also suffered a significant injury blow. Attacking winger Assane Diaw, who plays under Fàbregas, felt discomfort in his left thigh during the first half and was forced to leave the field in the 23rd minute, with Jesús Rodríguez coming on as a substitute. According to Sky Sports, Diaw underwent instrumental tests today, which revealed a first-degree flexor strain, ruling him out for 20 days.

Since making his Serie A debut from the bench against Udinese, Diaw has made five starts. He scored twice in Como's 4-1 loss to Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and also provided an assist against Napoli, averaging a 7.33 rating. In the Champions League, the Senegalese winger has also impressed, scoring in both of his first two appearances: he opened his account against Leipzig and netted again against Feyenoord.

For Fàbregas, Diaw's swift recovery will be crucial as Como face a demanding schedule with eight matches over the next 30 days. Next week, the team will first travel to face Fiorentina in Serie A Round 7, followed by a crucial Champions League encounter against Manchester United at the Sinigaglia Stadium.
