On July 13rd, transfer journalist Di Marzio reported that Inter will only consider selling Pavard this summer and will no longer consider loaning out the French star.
The 30-year-old Pavard joined Marseille on loan last summer, but the club ultimately did not exercise its option to buy him permanently. Pavard has since returned to Inter and has begun pre-season training with the team.
According to Di Marzio, Inter will take some time to decide Pavard's future. If the defensive star leaves, it will definitely be on a permanent transfer, as Inter will no longer consider a loan option.
The report further states that Stones, whose contract with Man City has expired, is currently among the potential replacements for Pavard.
