At 23:30 UTC on June 28, Portugal will face Colombia in their final World Cup group-stage match. Ahead of the match, Diogo Costa spoke to the media.

Do you expect this to be a different or more difficult match?

"Perhaps they won’t set up in a very deep defensive formation. They have our respect, and we have theirs. We’ll do our best to win."

Will this be a decisive match, or are you relatively confident?

"All teams must be respected. We've seen many surprising results in this World Cup, and every team deserves respect. Colombia are a team with a different style and their own football culture. We must adapt and strive to win."

Portuguese fans are usually in the majority, but in Miami there might be more Colombian fans...

"Of course, we are always grateful to those who support us, but our focus remains on daily training, match objectives, and tactical plans. Regardless of how many fans are in the stadium, we know the Portuguese supporters will back us. We hope to channel that positive energy into victory."

Is having so many leaders in the dressing room an advantage?

"It's incredibly valuable. As my teammates have said, we have great team spirit. That benefits us greatly, and everyone will bring their experience to the pitch to help the team win."
