Dybala is on the market

It appears as though the future of Paulo Dybala lies away from Juventus.

The Argentine star has just one full year left on his contract and comments made by Juventus sporting director Pavel Nedved indicate that his time may be up.

He isn't an undisputed starter for coach Andrea Pirlo, and the Italian was recently backed by the club despite having a disappointing campaign so far.

At the same time, Juventus CFO Fabio Paratici has moved to quash talk of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving, making Dybala's chances of cementing a starting role slim.

"We miss Paulo, he would have guaranteed us different attacking options and goals," Nedved told DAZN.

"He has a contract for one more year and I have nothing more to add to what Paratici and president Agnelli have already said.

"But it is clear that at Juventus we evaluate every business opportunity," he said.

The issue for the Old Lady now is who they can find to pay a healthy fee for the Argentine, as it's clear that they won't be getting anywhere near the 160 million euros Barcelona offered in 2017.

The current economic climate means that they would have to weigh up a significantly lower fee, although Premier League clubs are circling, who are not short of cash.

Tottenham and Chelsea are two clubs said to be interested, while they are not expected to offer for more than 45m euros.

But a possible Dybala departure doesn't mean that Juventus wouldn't look for a replacement either, and they've already been linked with moves for Barcelona's Antoine Griezmann and PSG's Mauro Icardi.
