Paulo Dybala has been told to resist joining Manchester United and instead hold old for a switch to Liverpool or Manchester City if he is keen on moving to the Premier League.
The Argentinean, 25, has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford from Juventus in a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku, who is looking for a way out of the Red Devils.
Dybala is said to be weighing up the prospect of joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, but is reportedly less than convinced that he would be making the right move for his career.
And Andrea Dossena, the former Liverpool defender who played alongside Dybala at Palermo, says United wouldn't be the right move for him.
"It’s all in his head," the Italian told Tuttomercato Web , via the Liverpool Echo .
"Obviously if he had to choose to leave Juve to go to United, I’m sure he would make himself available to the new club and could benefit from the atmosphere in the Premier League.
"It is certainly not a simple choice anyway, going away from Juventus is tough."
Former left-back Dossena wasn't deemed a success at Liverpool after joining from Udinese for £7million in the summer of 2008, but Reds fans remember him for scoring the fourth goal in a 4-1 win over United at Old Trafford in March 2009.
And it seems as though he still holds the Reds in high regard.
"We are talking about another world football superpower, but United are not ready to win big in Europe so he may as well stay at Juve, hence his vacillations," said the 37-year-old, who left Liverpool for Napoli in 2010, and later made a loan move to Palermo, where he played with Dybala.
"If the team in question had been Liverpool or Manchester City , in my opinion he would have had no doubts.
"United are more of a construction site at the moment, and for this reason I understand indecision - I too would be 50/50."

Let me ask this idiot somtine.... When dis Liverpool started doing well in EPL if not 2 season ago, and still dey be not won it. Every club has his bad time. Man united are having there own and soon it will b somtin of the past. Liverpool have been having bad season for the past 29 season just dis last season dey do somtin better than the last 29 but still they end up runners up. Man city, common they have hot attackers and very sure they dont need another player at the front for now. Dossena better face ur dead career

Ibrahimovic and Pogba both came to United when we weren’t playing champions league and that’s what I call respect for team when they were called so if Dybala is thinking about champions league football before signing for United even if Juve is ready to offload him that should tell you how he is downgrading the great Man United. I don’t blame him tho. Mane and slash both went to Liverpool when they were only playing the Europa league and look at them now among the top ten best players so dybala can stay at Juve and warm their bench

Dybala would do himself well if he joins United. He can help United back to champion league and make a name for himself. Lazy people always want the easy way but don't want to get involved in the rebuilding process. People who are telling him not to join United don't like him. These same people, if they found themselves in his situation, they would quickly accept United. Dybala, please don't rely on people who are telling you not to join United. This is a real golden opportunity. Other major teams in the premier league are staffed with exciting players. Going to them will only be heading for the bench. You are not a bench warmer. Choose United.

I don’t know if these articles are true But we as united are crystal clear about one thing . We don’t want dybala if he is not coming here with all his heart and passion to represent us. We don’t want him to join for the sake of playing in a big club or for money. He must come here wholeheartedly. Yes, we might be in crisis now, we are not in ucl, that doesn’t make us a mediocre club. We will bounce back. Those players who willingly join our club during this window, especially during this time when we r down, are true united men. And only they will be our heroes and lift trophies soon. - on behalf of all united fans.

and now Dybala has more options to choose and play for ANY top clubs in EPL (instead of feeling drowsy to play for ManUtd) 😆☑️
