All you need to know on how and where to watch the AFCON quarter-final between Egypt and Morocco at the Ahmedou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon on Sunday.
Egypt and Morocco go head to head in the AFCON quarter-finals in Cameroon on Sunday. Morocco topped Group C by two points before beating Malawi 2-1 in the round of 16 to advance to the quarter-finals. Egypt finished second in Group D and beat the Ivory Coast 5-4 on penalties in the round of 16 after a goalless draw. Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah scored the all-important fifth penalty to send The Pharaohs into the last eight of the tournament.
Semi-final place at stake
A place in the semi-finals is at stake for both teams in this one. Morocco came from one goal down against Malawi to advance to the quarter-finals. Youssef En-Nesyri equalised on the stroke of half-time after Gabadinho Mhango put Malawi ahead with a wondergoal from 40 yards. PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi scored a superb free-kick to give Morocco a crucial win.
Egypt on the other hand have the experience at this stage of the competition. They are 7-time AFCON champions, the most successful team in the history of the tournament. Egypt haven't won the tournament since 2010, however if they can get past Morocco, and with Salah in their side, they will fancy their chances of lifting the cup for the first time in over a decade.

If Gambia don't have a big heart then how did they manage to get to the quarter-final when everyone expected them to be one of the first teams to be knocked out of the group stage? Like I said you didn't watch the game last night you just looked at the stats and jumped to wrong conclusions. I'd have a better time arguing with an AF visitor than with you[Hitface]

get on point, I'm blasting Gambia for their cowardice. Iceland ain't a small football country, they're a small country with a big heart, that's what Gambia is lacking.

And you expected them to go as far as they did in the world cup in those years? What's your age? Have you been watching football? Do you know anything about football? Ok Iceland are a small nation in Europe but they managed to reach the Euro QFs in 2016. So Euro is a small tournament according to you right? And you want me to take you seriously?

so those teams you mentioned are small or clueless teams? What's your age? have you been watching football? you know anything about football? You use Ghana, Korea, Croatia, Costa Rica and Turkey, teams that are heavy weights in the respective continents to substantiate an argument for a clueless team and you want me take you serious?

LMAO. Croatia reached the World cup final in 2018, Ghana and Costa Rica reached the quarter-final in 2010 and 2014 respectively, Korea Republic and Turkey made it to the semi-finals in the 2002 edition with the former winning 3rd place that year. There are many more examples in the World cup and other major tournaments too. So if we use your logic then EVERY tournament in the world are useless tournaments. You're probably a new football fan who can't appreciate the beauty of underdog stories in football[Crylaugh] Next time, try to think from your brain rather than your dıck. Your ridiculous comments on this thread prove that even the visitors on this app have a higher IQ than you[byebye]

that's why it's a small tournament because clueless teams can make it thus far.

Gambia did their best but Cameroon were simply superior to them that's all. Don't forget that Gambia shocked everyone by reaching the quarter-final in the first place because they're the lowest-ranked country who participated in this year's AFCoN. Bet you didn't watch the game.

Cameroon won yesterday up to now All Football is saying nothing about it. Some nonsense app
On the other hand OneFootball would post an article immediately after a game between Sudan and Guinea-Bissau. Without the comments section AF is a shıt football app.

African football is something else. some teams will come to the field with defeat already in their mind and decide to make all their 11 players goal keeper. No wonder Klopp called the AFCON small tournament. No serious minded football lover will want to watch such tournament with boring teams.

it's unfortunate we have such shallow minded fellows on the app ..I guess u as a serious minded person will never watch football cos there was a time a certain Barca, man city, Spain and Holland controlled games Soo much as u claim is aimless on the part of their opponents...you keep misquoting Klopp who is much wiser not to use this assertion to judge African football
European clubs use that as tactics to counter the attacking team, not to sit in your defense blowing ball away without any game plan. It makes the game boring. the players weren't even structurally position on the field, they were chasing the ball here and there anyhow. Thank God they're out of the tournament.......

The true lover of football who cares about this tournament will still watch it. Cameroon is a better team, so of course Gambia will be play defensively, just like how Mourinho forms his teams against better opponents.
