Emerson has put an end to the rumours about a potential departure from Barcelona this summer with a video message expressing his excitement about playing for the club.
The Brazilian, who has been linked with a move to Inter, stated that he looks forward to fulfilling his dream of playing in front of the club's supporters at the Camp Nou.
"Hello, Barcelona fans," Emerson said in a video on his Instagram page.
"We will be together soon.
"I want you to know that you are part of my childhood dream, I wanted to play for Barcelona and today it's a reality.
"Visca el Barca and visca Catalunya."
Shortly after, Emerson posted a photo of himself wearing a Barcelona shirt as he looks to get his career at the Camp Nou off to a flying start, following his arrival from Real Betis for nine million euros.
