On July 14, Chelsea defeated Paris Saint-Germain 3–0 in the Club World Cup final. After the match, PSG head coach Luis Enrique explained his altercation with Chelsea forward João Pedro.
A scuffle broke out between both sides after the final whistle, during which Enrique shoved João Pedro to the ground.
At the post-match press conference, Enrique said:
“At the end of the match, there was a situation that could have been avoided. My intention, as always, was to separate the players to prevent further problems. We should all work to stop situations from escalating. At that moment there was a lot of tension and pressure. I saw Maresca being pushed and also pushing others. Clearly, our intention was to separate the players. These are situations we should all avoid.”

What a great lie by Enrique. I is clearly seen that he slapped Pedro. He always do this when ever loose match and loose control.....
