After leading Paris Saint-Germain to two consecutive Champions League titles, Paris coach Luis Enrique was interviewed by TNT Sports.
I know you are a very fit person, but after those penalty shootouts, how is your heart?
I decided a long time ago to stay calm and try to enjoy the final moments, because to win that kind of penalty shootout you need luck. But I think we performed very well in the quality of the penalty kicks, and at the same time the goalkeeper also performed very well.
Winning the Champions League continuously is an incredible achievement. Please briefly summarize what it means to you and your team.
Yes, it's incredible. I think we deserved it, maybe today both teams deserved to win, but considering our performance throughout the season, I think we deserved to win this Champions League title, we are very lucky and also very happy, and will try to come back here next year, why not?
For this group of players, you have a very young squad, many top talents. What is the next step for this team? What kind of potential does it have?
It's normal when you have a lot of strong players, but we need to update the squad because, you know, everyone has their place, but we need to fight for our place, we need to bring in new players, we need to deal with the things that usually have to be dealt with in a team like Paris Saint-Germain.
How difficult was it against Arsenal? Because you have played some very tough games in the Champions League, how did it feel tonight?
I think the game started in the most favorable way for them, they scored in a lucky attack, and after that it was comfortable for them because they knew how to defend. It was very difficult, we were used to attacking in that way, with many players behind the ball, but against them, they are very strong physically, they try to take advantage of any attack, it's very difficult. I think we deserved to equalize, and in the end we are very happy to have won that trophy.
Luis, I'm going to show you a chart here, just to show how good a company you're in. In terms of the number of Champions League titles won by head coaches, only Ancelotti is ahead of you, but look, you are on that top list, in very, very good company.
Only three? (laughs) Well, I have to prove myself.
And you haven't stopped yet, right?
We'll see, we'll see.
This team can win five Champions League titles, right?
I can sign four.

PSG failed to score against Arsenal throughout the entire 120 minutes. The officiating team was against Arsenal for one biased reason. The epl can't win all the European titles. It's better that one must go to another country. It has happened. Everyone who watched the game to the final whistle agrees with me that the referee played a twelfth number for PSG on several occasions. Let Enrique and company celebrate, but it wasn't fair entirely.
I'm a Chelsea fan and an EPL fan but PSG outplayed Arsenal and they deserve to be European Champions AGAIN!
