Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique reportedly told now-departed midfielder Marco Verratti (30) that he is the prototype of the player that he hates, according to Le Parisien.
Verratti left PSG in September to join Qatari side Al-Arabi. The transfer brought an end to an 11-year stay at the Parc des Princes. The Italian international had been informed earlier in the summer by new manager Luis Enrique and sporting consultant Luís Campos that he was surplus to requirements. Verratti therefore didn’t feature at all under Luis Enrique in competitive competition, before leaving.
According to Le Parisien, Luis Enrique cited Verratti’s lifestyle as the reason behind his decision to get rid of him. “You are the prototype of the player I hate,” the former Spain manager reportedly told Verratti. Whilst Luis Enrique liked Verratti the player, he was not a fan of the player’s lifestyle choices, leading to the manager taking a hardline stance and omitting him from the first-team set-up. PSG reportedly received €45m for the midfielder.

Coaches should be bold enough to do away with players with questionable lifestyle because on the short or long run it will affect the team 90% of the time, a talented discipline young man is better than a Neymar with just talent we talking team sport here
