Eric Dier has arrived in Bayern Munich and will undergo his medical today

According to Plettigoal, Bayern are set to sign Eric Dier from Spurs on permanent deal, agreement being sealed

The Tottenham defender has arrived in Germany to undergo a medical before signing with Thomas Tuchel’s side in a deal believed to be worth around £2.5million.

Dier is out of favour at Spurs under Ange Postecoglou and has been told he can leave this month.

Provided everything goes according to plan, Dier will join former club and international team-mate Harry Kane at Bayern.

Dier will be replaced at Spurs by Genoa central defender Radu Dragusin, who is set to seal a £25million move to London.

Out of favour right back Djed Spence, who was sent back from his season-long loan spell at Leeds, is expected to head in the opposite direction.

The deal for Dragusin was in doubt on Tuesday night when Bayern Munich tabled a late formal offer for the Romanian.

But the defender has opted to join Spurs, a move that has resulted in Bayern reviving their interest in Tottenham’s Dier, who is fully open to a moving to Germany this month.

Dier, who has six months left on his deal, will cost around £3million.
