Eric Garcia believes his integration into the Manchester City first-team has been helped by the number of Spanish players in Pep Guardiola's side.
The teenage centre back was moved to the first-team set-up this summer and he is delighted with how his progress at City is going, having moved to the Etihad from Barcelona three years ago.
Garcia , 18, admits it took him some time to settle into a new country and a new league, but he has no regrets over leaving Barcelona.
"I'm in my third season in Manchester already and I'm very happy. At first it was more complicated, but then I adapted after a few months. I'm lucky to have a lot of Spanish teammates, who make things easier," he said.
"When I first went, I was hoping to see how things were going. We all know the Premier League is a different league, it's more physical. I was going to see what happened but I'm very happy with how it's gone."
Now he's a regular in first-team training Garcia is well placed to asses who has surprised him most on a daily basis.
While there are few secrets in terms of quality around the Etihad, the Spain Under-21 international did find one star who is even better than he thought he would be.
"Everyone is at a phenomenal level, but Bernardo Silva surprised me the most," he told Marca .
"I had seen him at Monaco but not much, so I was surprised when I first trained with him."
