Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly on Bayern Munich's shortlist to replace Thomas Tuchel.
This comes after the Bundesliga giants had been turned down by former United boss Ralf Rangnick, who committed his future to the Austria national team.
With Tuchel leaving the club at the end of the season, there have been several rumours surrounding his potential replacement.
Now, Sky Sports have reported that Bayern Munich's search for Tuchel's replacement has led them to the Man Utd manager.
Ten Hag has been heavily rumoured to be set for an exit from Old Trafford in the summer, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe potentially looking to make a change.
Sky Sports News write that they understand that Bayern Munich have made contact with Ten Hag's agent, Kees Vos, to see if he would be open to the move.
However, the report continues to state that no formal talks have been made but the Dutchman is aware of the interest.
It is also believed that Ten Hag has told his 'people' that his sole focus is on the job at hand in England, with his side in the FA Cup final.
Sky Sports continue to state that despite the turbulant season at Man United, Bayern's hierarchy believe Ten Hag's coaching has been hampered by a litany of off-field issues and a poor operational set-up.
His work at Ajax and first season at Old Trafford has interested the Bayern higher ups.
Back in 2013, Ten Hag was employed by the Bundesliga giants as he spent three years coaching their second team.
During his time with Bayern Munich II, Ten Hag led them to the Regionalliga Bayern.
Tuchel's side will be hoping to make it to the Champions League final after failing to win the Bundesliga this season.

United does not need a coach, this English owner is doing great now....making United a better place for a coach and players...the saga United is in, the blame is on the board not the coach....so I hope to give Erik 2 years when the system stabilise with great culture in the board as recruitment is on
