Erling Haaland has appeared to cool speculation on a Borussia Dortmund exit this summer, reminding his potential suitors that he still has three years left on his contract with the Bundesliga club.

The race to secure the Norwegian striker's signature is expected to dominant the summer transfer window with Real Madrid, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs expected to compete fiercely to recruit him.

Haaland, who has scored 33 goals in 31 appearances this season, has continued his meteoric rise with Dortmund after a stunning breakthrough with Red Bull Salzburg last season.

It has led to major speculation that they will cash in on him this summer with Dortmund looking increasingly likely to miss out on Champions League football and their finances hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

But Haaland, who has a release clause of £90million in his Dortmund contract that must be activated in one payment, has reminded those interested in securing his services that he still has a long-term deal in place with Dortmund.

Speaking while on international duty with Norway, Haaland said: 'I still have three years of contract [at Dortmund].

'I am not worried about that.'

Although Haaland is tied down in Germany, reports in Spain have suggested he will try to force through an exit if Dortmund miss out on Champions League football as his frustrations continue to grow.

A video of Haaland went viral on Saturday afternoon as he furiously stormed down the tunnel after Dortmund's 2-2 draw with Cologne, in which he scored a brace as his side dropped more points in the Bundesliga.

He was heard saying he 'f****** hates' his side's current form and, according to German outlet BILD, Haaland was overheard shouting 'I f****** hate this. F****** bulls***' at the half-time break, with his side drawing 1-1 at the interval.

According to AS, Haaland is fully aware that he needs to be playing in Europe's top club competition and 'refuses to contemplate' not being involved in it next season.

It was also claimed by the Spanish outlet that Haaland has even told agent Mino Raiola in no uncertain terms that he will leave if Champions League football is not assured at Dortmund next season.

Real Madrid have reportedly made him a 'priority' signing and see him as the long-term successor to Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.

It's also claimed Haaland 'likes the option' of playing in Spain and the close bond between Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke and Real counterpart Florentino Pérez could work in their favour.

Pep Guardiola's City are thought to be currently leading the chase, with the Norwegian striker contemplating a move to the side his father, Alf Inge, spent three years at before injury cut short his season.

City are looking for a new forward with talisman Sergio Aguero expected to leave the Etihad this summer while Chelsea are desperate to sign a centre forward after Timo Werner's struggles this season.

Manchester United are also interested in signing Haaland, a player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coached at Modle, but the Red Devils look set to be priced out of a move as they look to address other areas of their squad.
