Following a similar initiative from the NBA, several league clubs across Europe have also made non-medical face masks available via their club shops.
Face masks are set to be part and parcel in day-to-day life during the Covid-19 pandemic with many nations advising citizens to wear masks on public transport and in supermarkets.
Last week, the NBA confirmed they would commence sales of branded non-medical face masks with profits going to Feeding America and Second Harvest Canada. European football clubs have been inspired by the ideal with a series of clubs across the continent now selling branded non-medical masks.
At present English side Wycombe Wanderers offer a harlequin version based on their home shirt with Austrian top flight Rapid Vienna offering three different styles.
Hamburg based cult German side FC Sankt Pauli feature the iconic 'Totenkopf' with demand at Fortuna Düsseldorf being so high that the first run of F95 branded masks has sold out with the various clubs donating elements of the sales of the masks to entities involved in the fight against the Covid-19 virus.

Hope footballers don't suffocate under the mask , as an active athlete need a free flow of air from nose and mouth throughout the period he/she is in active engagement , very difficult situation though .
