Evening Standard: MU still without Dorgu against Roma as Rashford & Seško remain out with injuries

Manchester United will still be without Patrick Dorgu for their Champions League clash against Roma, though Tielemans is expected to return to the squad immediately.

It was previously hoped that Patrick Dorgu could help solve the Red Devils' left-back problem after resuming team training on Monday.

Manager Carrick confirmed to the media that, although the former Lecce player has returned, he will not participate in this league phase match.

Carrick said: "It's his first time training with the team, and it's good to have him back, but he won't play tomorrow. We'll see how he recovers over the next week."

This leaves Manchester United short-handed in this position once again, with Luke Shaw also out due to a muscle issue.

In recent matches, Dalot and Mazraoui have both filled in at right-back, and center-back Yoro has also temporarily covered the right flank. Ayden Heaven can also play this position.

In attack, the Red Devils are still without Rashford. An old hip injury caused him to miss the heavy defeats to Como and AFC Bournemouth, and also the match against Chelsea. He has not resumed training since, and will not play in this match either.

Benjamin Šeško will be out for longer. The Slovenian forward is still recovering from a shin injury that affected his debut season and slowed his start to this season.

Therefore, Carrick does not have many options when Roma visit Old Trafford.
