Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored second-half goals to give Everton a hard-earned 2-0 victory over Chelsea.

7' CLOSE! Hazard's shot hits the post
OFF THE POST! Everton are all over the place! The space opens up for Hazard to have a go from 18 yards, and his curler gets the better of Pickford but comes back off the base of the post. Seconds later, Higuain controls a ball over the top and his scuffed shot is blocked by Keane before it can cross the line.
49'GOAL! Everton 1-0 Chelsea (Richarlison)
GOOOOAAALLL!!! EVERTON 1-0 CHELSEA! The hosts are rewarded for their fast start to the second half as Richarlison gives them the lead - his first goal in eight home games, stretching back to December. Calvert-Lewin outjumps David Luiz when attacking a right-sided corner and tests Kepa down low, with the loose ball bouncing nicely for Richarlison to head home from a few yards out.
60' Great save from Pickford!
72'GOAL! Everton 2-0 Chelsea (Sigurdsson)
GOOOOAAALLL!!!! EVERTON 2-0 CHELSEA! Sigurdsson converts the penalty at the second time of asking. Kepa guesses the right way to deny the Everton midfielder from 12 yards, but the rebound is converted from in front of goal.
Match Report
Everton eased the pressure on Marco Silva and dented Chelsea's top-four hopes with a morale-boosting 2-0 win at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Richarlison punished Chelsea's profligacy just after half-time and Gylfi Sigurdsson converted the rebound from his own saved penalty to secure only the Toffees' second victory in nine Premier League games at home.
Marco Silva's men, who dramatically lost 3-2 at Newcastle United last time out, were thoroughly outplayed in the first half, but an improved performance from Jordan Pickford helped keep the visitors at bay.
Defeat for Chelsea, their first since the EFL Cup final, leaves them three points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal with eight games remaining.

Sarri : Who I'm?

Again the same factors are to blame for these typical losses that we suffer and its partial. Players: Certain players are literally just not good enough. Wtf are Alonso and Barkley still doing in the starting line up? Emerson and Loftus cheek should be undisputed starters. I'd even have rather had Kovacic in LCM than Barkley. Barkley bring absolutely nothing to the game. Alonso is even worse, Europa group stages level at best. Board: How dare they have the money to spend on top players and then go and buy guys like Alonso, Barkley, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Morata etc then throw these players at a manager and have the indecency to ask for progress with 3rd rate players. The biggest culprits for this whole mess is this clubs hierarchy. I'd rather they buy 2 world class players over 2 windows than buy 4 or 5 average 2nd choice/bench targets. Sarri: Idk what to say. Just when I think he understands the best plan for him, he reverts back to his original team. I think he can be a good coach but the guy needs his players. These players cant play his football and for that you have to somewhat sympathise with him. But and a big but he really should by now know his teams winning line up isnt this yet he constantly fields these players. Odoi and Giroud are on form what were you thinking leaving them on the bench. Loftus is back and in much better shape and also on form, the guy should be a starter already? what is going on in Sarri head. Even Christensen who was trusted by someone as stubborn as Conte cant start yet is probably our best pure centre back in the whole team? And 1 good game against a team that didnt want to play and suddenly Alonso is starting material? c'mon man I know you're smarter than this Sarri.

and when liverpool drew against everton they said we were terrible. what am saying is everton on agood day is just as dangerous as any top 3 club. out of 6 possible points for chelsea to get into the top 4 (fulham and everton ) chelsea have managed to "amass" just a point. Chelsea have 4 problems for me. 1.higuain just isnt cutting it. passive in every single match . doesnt seem to be ready to knock dem ball in 2. marcos alonso. did well in the uel but is terrible in the prem and it was evident today when he conceeded a terrible penalty which chelsea were not able to recover from 3. chelsea's midfield esp the jorginho -kante situation. kante is playing out of position but whenever chelsea win , we all forget about that but when they lose we go back to it. 4. maurizio sarri hes to passive and dull for me and if chelsea want to succeed next season he has to go. he is too stubborn . they should get a coach that alternates formations and doesnt just stick to one formation even if they are losing. 5. chelsea should really experiment the 4-2-3-1 formation. with jorginho and kante sitting deep. hazard ,odoi/pedro, willian with higuaun up top

why can't Chelsea just play a direct football and score goals rather than playing nonsensical beautiful style without goal, the approach and attitude is very bad , the passing is just too much, Beautiful football without goal is nonsense, because you can't earn a point without scoring, Chelsea is too wasteful in front of goal post

Our players cant attack and just generally poor defending from our set in stone back line and front 3. I'm sorry but Sarri when you were just showing promise all you had to do was start your winning equation aka Emerson left back, Ruben in midfield, Odoi right wing and even thrown Giroud in for wins on headers. This line up was a huge let down as again the same players that we know arent hacking it are on the field. I feel that with the right players Sarri style can work but without the players being available in the summer I dont know if Sarri is flexible enough to use the right resources he has. I won't ask for him to be out cos that's a loss for us than a benefit considering our current situation but he needs to quickly figure out what's best for him and who his actual best players are instead of just playing people with height or experience in the mix. On form Giroud, Odoi, Cheek should have been starting and I remember commenting last week that we dont let Alonso form in a default win trick us into thinking he is better than Emerson, I stand by that statement. Everything went wrong for us but let's look ahead to the Europa and hopefully we can at least do well in that though I already knew in my gut feeling that even with a game in hand, Europa was still always really our best route. Shocking game, players needed some rest and also Kepa was the only good thing about that game as literally nothing was his fault. With a defence like that Prime Buffon would struggle trying to save a game.

if Arsenal qualifies for UCL, 5 % of the money should be given to Chelsea as a gesture of good will to help them out through difficult times

To Chelsea fans don't feel disappoint to the results. This is football you can win and you can lose too. But when Chelsea have huge possession and many chances to score but Everton wins. the problem isn't Sarri the problem is the players they did many mistakes so Everton did won. I think Tiki Taka system also is not good always it causes many mistakes. Sarri should play another tactics rather than 4-3-3 and tiki taka. If he couldn't that, he should be ready to leave because everyone knows well chelsea never give mercy to the coaches

Chelsea should focus on winning the Europa league to get Champions league football next season, Manchester United, Liverpool and Leicester away these are very difficult fixtures that would be very hard for Chelsea to win, at this moment it seems as top four is over for them unless something miraculous happen.

Aspiliquata, Alonso, Barkley and Joginho should be dropped. Aspiliquata offers nothing while going forward. He lacks the modern days 2 that can make dangerous crosses.Joginho is very slow and soft. It's difficult to know Barkley's position. Loftus offers more balance and attack. Alonso has been bad since this season. Chelsea needs urgent changes or they loose everything.

reality check, the season is finishing and there's no signs of improvement at Chelsea, so I would really like to know what was the objective of bringing in Sarri, as it was said that he would improve Chelsea style of playing, but upon today it's clear that Chelsea have not improve, if anything they have weakened in a lot of ways, this team is so weak, no team fear Chelsea anymore, Sarri has erode Chelsea reputation
