Everton will look to claw their way back out of the bottom three when they host Chelsea at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Toffees were humiliated 5-2 in Wednesday’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool at Anfield, and after the match, beleaguered boss Marco Silva cut a despondent figure.

Chelsea will head north full of confidence after their 2-1 win over Aston Villa — a result which ended a run of three games without a win for Frank Lampard’s men, including two consecutive Premier League defeats.

Rudiger is back in training and is expected to take part in at least one of Chelsea's upcoming fixtures as the schedule piles up, but Saturday maybe a little too early to risk him.

Barkley missed the win over Aston Villa through illness and remains a doubt, while Willian and Abraham were both forced off with an injury during that game the latter is expected to be fit for the trip to Everton.

Van Ginkel and Loftus-Cheek remain long-term absentees.
