New Palermo sports chief Giorgio Perinetti has likened Genoa coach Daniele de Rossi to Luciano Spalletti.
Perinetti has been a Genoa sporting director and is following the progress of the team under De Rossi closely.
Genoa meet Spalletti's Juventus later tonight.
And Perinetti told Sky Italia: "Football is a world that is constantly evolving, constantly updating itself. De Rossi respects Spalletti, and today's match is a tough one for the Roman coach.
"But his team has spirit, they have an identity, they must save themselves, and they won't give in easily to a Juventus side that still boasts great individual players.
"It will be a very interesting match, even if matches after the break are always an unknown quantity.
" What kind of coach is De Rossi? He's developing, but he pays attention to detail, to the particulars, things he may have inherited from Spalletti, like expressing himself with personality."
