FC Andorra Mourns Jesús de Miguel: Rest in Peace

On November 3, FC Andorra published an official statement mourning the death of Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel.

The club wrote in its statement: "With broken hearts and devastated, we want to send our most sincere condolences to the family of Jesús de Miguel, to all his teammates, friends, and to CD Tenerife. Rest in peace."

Earlier, during stoppage time in the match between Tenerife and FC Andorra, Jesús de Miguel collapsed after a heavy collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono and was stretchered off the field. Medical staff immediately provided emergency treatment on the pitch, and players from both teams looked visibly anxious. Referee Manuel Ángel Pérez then stopped the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
