FC Barcelona has taken a new step in its efforts to retain Marcus Rashford, currently on loan from Manchester United. Impressed by his performances in Catalonia, the Blaugrana are actively working on a solution to extend his stay beyond this season, despite ongoing financial constraints.

According to reports, Barça has proposed a fresh deal structure to the Red Devils. Unable to immediately pay the €30 million fee, the Catalan club is pushing for another loan with an obligation to buy. This formula would allow them to spread the cost over time while keeping a player who has already delivered solid numbers. Rashford, who has become a reliable attacking option under Hansi Flick, continues to strengthen his case with consistent performances.

Backed by president Joan Laporta, Barcelona’s intention is clear. The club sees Rashford as part of its future project and is determined to find an agreement. Now, all eyes turn to Manchester United, whose response will decide whether the English forward’s adventure in Spain continues.
