Van Dijk sits only two points over Ronaldo (38 to 36), while Salah (26) and Mane (23) are ranked fourth and fifth.
Mbappe, De Jong, Hazard, De Ligt and Harry Kane are respectively ranked from sixth to tenth.

To be honest, I didn't believe messi will win this award, I have already made my decision that can dijk is going to win it, but now I know there miracle and hope exist in life, I was shocked when they called messi name, I am so happy, who thought a player like him will win after all he has went through, this is his first major individual awards since 2015, good luck messi, and also good luck next time to others...they should be proud they made it this far...congrats messi, more to come
