Fahad Al-Muwallad has been transported back to Saudi after fell from his balcony

Saudi Player Fahad Al-Muwalllad had now been transported back to his homeland after escaping life-threatening danger.

Fahad Al-Muwallad is currently receiving intensive care in hospital after falling from a second-floor balcony while on holiday in Dubai. According to reports, the Saudi Arabian player suffered multiple fractures. Citing a report by The National, local police are currently investigating. However, the police are apparently having difficulty finding information because no one was with the Al-Shabab star at the time of the incident. The police handling the case did not mention where the apartment was located or which hospital Fahad Al-Muwallad was taken to. "Efforts by the medical team are continuing to provide him with the necessary treatment," the police said.

Fahad Al-Muwallad is one of the players who faced the Indonesian National Team in the opening match of Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone. At that time, the match was a 1-1 draw.

His club Al-Shabab have also posted an announcement on his situation:

"Fahad Al-Muwallad arrived in the capital Riyadh late on Thursday evening by the medical evacuation plane of the Saudi Ministry of Defense Health Services, and was immediately transferred to King Abdulaziz Medical City at the National Guard to complete treatment and receive the necessary care.

"For his part, the chairman of the club's board of directors, Mr. Mohammed Al-Manjem, on his behalf.  On behalf of all the club's employees, he thanked His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee for his direct follow-up on the player's condition, and the Saudi Football Federation headed by Mr. Yasser bin Hassan Al-Masahal, for monitoring the player's condition and providing all the necessary medical and administrative requirements and procedures through a special team from the Saudi Arabian national team, and thanked His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the UAE and the Consulate General of the Kingdom in Dubai for providing all the necessary facilities.

"He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the air medical evacuation team of the Ministry of Defense Health Services, and expressed his thanks for the great cooperation and coordination carried out by the health affairs of the Ministry of National Guard and all officials at King Abdulaziz Medical City, praying to God Almighty to grant the player Fahad Al-Mawlad the best of health and well-being."
