FANS were shocked and delighted to bump into Neal Maupay in unlikely circumstances after he collected his fish and chips.

The Brentford star was an unused substitute during the goalless draw against Fulham earlier in the day.

Maupay, 27, has become a fan favourite in recent months for his antics on and off the pitch.

He has often been hailed as one of the Premier League's top s***houses.

The striker has now been spotted walking home after picking up some fish and chips.

He was carrying his meal while on foot and wearing his full Brentford tracksuit.

Fans were delighted to see him as they said hello, shared a fist bump and got a photo with the striker.

When Maupay was asked what he was doing, he responded by saying, "Just chilling innit."

The clip went viral on social media as viewers loved his response to the chance encounter.

One posted: "Bro said just chilling innit haha."

A second wrote: "What a guy."

A third commented: "Bro is like that cool villain with humour you'd generally find in movies who you kinda like."

A fourth said: "With Brentford track as well, I love Maupay."

A fifth joked: "Dude is chillin. Love the vibes."

Another added: "Cod and chips for Mr Maupay."

Maupay is self-proclaimed as the "most disliked player" in England's top flight.

He had confrontations with Manchester City's Kyle Walker and Tottenham's James Maddison earlier this season.

The striker mimicked Maddision's darts celebration after scoring and had an argument with Walker on the pitch.

He was, however, praised by fans for a jibe at Manchester United star Antony's celebrations after beating Coventry City.
