Palmer returned to action in the 2-2 draw on Saturday and one particular passage of play caught the eye as he received the ball following a throw-in from Marc Cucurella and quickly managed to locate Mykhailo Mudryk.

21-year-old Palmer demonstrated his excellent close control, with many fans suggesting that such clips show how talented professional footballers really are.

The footage was filmed from the stands at Villa Park, providing fans with a different viewpoint from what they usually see on television.

One user wrote on X: 'its easy to forget how good pro footballers are when we're sat there watching it from the stands or at home how effortless has he made that look'.

Another user described Palmer's pass as 'ridiculous'. They wrote: 'this angle makes you appreciate players even more, ridiculous skill'.

Furthermore, another user described Palmer as an 'insane' talent. They wrote: 'The talent on this lad is insane.'

In addition, another stated that Palmer 'makes it look so easy'.

Another user wrote that television coverage of games doesn't show how good players are. They wrote: 'Tv really doesn’t do justice to the amount of tekk football players have man'.

Palmer has been hugely impressive for Chelsea since signing from Manchester City last summer.

Now an England international, he has scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in 40 appearances for Chelsea.

Villa were 2-0 up following an own goal from Cucurella and an effort from Morgan Rogers.

However, Chelsea managed to secure a point, with Noni Madueke getting a goal back before Conor Gallagher equalised.
