A highly-rated Manchester United prospect has been slammed by fans after his reaction to failing a mock driving test went viral online.

The 17-year-old Russian-born starlet has been filming his lessons and putting them on YouTube for fans to watch his progress.

He recently underwent a practice test, and footage has emerged of him reacting badly to being told that he would not have passed if the test was real.

Amir Ibragimov, who is one of three brothers to play for United's academy, took the test while his MMA star brother, Ibragim, sat in the back seat.

The video clip of the mock test starts with the instructor - who was acting as the examiner - asking Amir if he thought he had passed.

'Yeah, 100 per cent passed,' Amir responded.

'I'm sorry to say you've failed,' the examiner shot back.

At this point, Amir turned to his brother and asked: 'Is he mad?' He then turned back to the examiner and questioned 'are you actually being serious?'

The examiner proceeded to tell Amir he had committed three serious faults, leading to a shocked reaction from the youngster as he put his head in his hands and started to sulk.

Amir was then asked if he could pick out the serious infringements that may have cost him, and admitted he had made a mistake at a roundabout, but argued it should only have been counted as a minor error.

Amir was then told that his 'lane discipline' had let him down, but he was adamant that he had checked to see there was no one in the next lane before cutting across.

The final error flagged was that Amir failed to check his blind spots after performing an emergency stop.

Once again, the teenager was fuming as he claimed it ought to only be a minor and that it shouldn't be counted because he 'knew it straight away'.

The 88-second clip has been viewed more than 500,000 times, and many fans were not impressed by Amir's reaction to failing the mock test as they hit out at his attitude.

'Hope it’s fake cus nah that attitude,' one X user wrote in the replies to the video.

'Yet another youth player with attitude problems,' another fan added.

One supporter wrote: 'If that’s him he needs to learn how to speak to people with a bit of respect.'

Amir was also compared to United flop Jadon Sancho for his behaviour, after Sancho was sent out on loan to Chelsea at the start of the season following a public bust-up with ex-United boss Erik ten Hag.

'Looks like he’s got attitude. The earlier he gets corrected the better before he becomes another Sancho,' one fan said.

Another agreed, adding: 'This is definitely an attitude, we got another Sancho on our hands.'

Amir has already caught the eye at youth level, having scored four goals against Newcastle's Under-16s in January 2024.

He's been touted to become a future Old Trafford star and has met Sir Alex Ferguson, but some fans appear a little concerned by his character as he prepares to make the step up to senior level.
