Juventus suffered a shock defeat in their final Champions League group game, going down 2-1 to Young Boys - and Cristiano Ronaldo was partly to blame.
In second half stoppage time, Paulo Dybala thought he had snatched a point with a stunning strike from the edge of the box.
However it was ruled out after Ronaldo attempted to get a head on the ball as it flew by, while standing in an offside position

Dybala was wheeling away celebrating what appeared to be one of the best goals of his career, a first time rifle into the top corner from 25 yards
However the Argentine was left stunned after it was disallowed, as did Ronaldo - whose expression turned from outraged to sheepish when the reason was revealed by the referee.
There was a sense of deja vu about the incident, after Ronaldo had a similarly excellent goal ruled out in the same circumstances back in 2010.
In a friendly between Portugal and Spain, Ronaldo looked to have scored one of his best ever strikes after streaking away from the defence, leaving Gerard Pique flailing with a smart turn, and lobbing Iker Casillas.
However, Nani arrived from an offside position to head the ball home virtually on the line - leaving the wonder goal disallowed, and Ronaldo apoplectic.
Fortunately for Ronaldo, in both cases the disallowed goals did not have an impact on anything other than pride.
In the 2010 friendly, Portugal won 4-0, while on Wednesday night, Juventus still finished top of their Champions League group after Manchester United were beaten by Valencia.

Its not a matter if he touched it or not, if a player stands in a offside position and tries to be involved in the situation, in this case he jumps in a attempt to head the ball in, therefore he tried to be involved while in a offside position which is illegal, if you stand offside you are not allowed to go for the ball no matter what!
