Fans on social media have reacted to Virgil van Dijk being dragged off at half-time by Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool were struggling against a dominant Brentford and found themselves 2-0 down at the half-time interval.
Fans on social media have said that the German manager was right to take Van Dijk off - following a 'poor' performance in the first 45.
One fan said: 'Virgil was poor 1st half so no surprise he is taken off.' This seemed to be a common theme amongst much of social media.

The Holland defender has been out of sorts recently and this continued in the first-half against Brentford
