Rio Ferdinand is calling on Manchester United to get Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia out the Old Trafford door as fast as possible.
And former defender Ferdinand believes it is creating a “bad energy” in the dressing room to have players, most notably Rashford, who do not want to be at the club hanging around.
Head coach Ruben Amorim is keen to overhaul a squad that continues to set unwanted records but requires some high-profile departures before the owners sanction any new signings.
Ferdinand also suggested Antony will soon sign for La Liga's Real Betis before saying their presence at United is "cancerous" in a week where Alejandro Garnacho is increasingly expected to be sold too.
“I think Antony's going, someone said to me, Real Betis or somewhere like that," Ferdinand said on Rio Presents. "Just get them out man!
“Sorry, no, I'm just being honest. The more these type of guys are around, where there's just a bad noise, they all want to go, they're all happy to go - let's just get them out. Let's start afresh.
“You know what it's like, if there's people who are unsettled in there and it's not going to plan and they're not happy, it spreads. It's like a cancerous, bad energy.”
It is not the first time in recent weeks that Ferdinand has spoken out against Rashford. In December the former defender said on his YouTube channel that there was "more to it" than the England forward simply deciding he wanted a new challenge and said it extended beyond being about football.
Ferdinand added: "I don’t think this is just a football decision for Manchester United, there is more to it." He added: "You have to remember that when this kid came onto the scene, he was an absolute breath of fresh air, he was a joke. Again, the body language when he came in, was what every fan saw themselves being if they came in.
"That’s been the biggest killer for me, that his body language, for the last three years, has not been what a Manchester United fan sees himself being in a Manchester United red shirt when a goal goes in or when they step foot out onto Old Trafford. His body language has been almost depressive, a recluse like body language.
"The fans are meant to see academy products and see themselves there and anyone who thinks they are going to get a chance to play for Manchester United, at any level in the first team, should be beaming. It’s that privilege to step out of there in that red shirt on the regular.
"Marcus has said that but his body language hasn’t said that, that has been the killer for me. I hope this ends well and everyone goes out and leaves this situation without any cuts or bruises. Marcus’ ego might have a few bruises, but he has a chance to rebuild himself."
Rashford has scored 138 goals and contributed 63 assists in 426 appearances for United, winning two League Cups, two FA Cups and the Europa League along the way.

Rashford is fine. The boy is collecting a cool 365,000 pounds a week. So Ferdinand can shove it. Are you a body language expert or what?
