Sir Alex Ferguson passed on some words of wisdom to Manchester United's current crop of stars ahead of their Europa League final tonight.
Nemanja Matic took to Instagram on Wednesday to thank the club's legendary manager for providing them with some advice before the 8pm kick-off.
Matic, Bruno Fernandes, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani all smiled as they had their picture taken with Ferguson as they enjoyed some downtime in Gdansk.
'We are ready to give everything tonight! Thanks to Sir Alex for his advice and support!' Matic wrote as he shared the picture on Instagram.
Ferguson won two Champions League trophies during his iconic 27-year tenure at the club, and is now passing on his knowledge onto the next group of United players.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his United team are relaxing ahead of tonight's final with Villarreal, the party in the Polish city has already begun, with supporters from both clubs descending on Gdansk to take in the atmosphere in the build up to kick-off.
After making their 10-mile journey from Gdansk airport into the city centre, United fans congregated outside the hotel where the United players were staying earlier on Wednesday morning, before they waved off the Red Devils ahead of their final training session.
The Norwegian boss acknowledged the United contingent with a wave as he boarded the team coach, which set off for the stadium shortly after.
United and Villarreal have both been allocated 2,000 tickets each for tonight's European showpiece at the the Stadion Miejski, with a total of 9,500 spectators to attend the game.
Among them is former United icon and Derby manager Wayne Rooney, who shared a picture of himself with son Klay flying out for the clash.
