A Feyenoord player was spotted at the London Stadium to watch Liverpool's draw with West Ham ahead of Arne Slot's appointment.

The Merseyside club have agreed a compensation package for Slot to succeed Klopp, with Mail Sport reporting on Friday morning that figure could reach up to £9.42million.

The agreement also is expected to include a move for Slot's right-hand man Sipke Hulshoff, who has done a secondment at the Netherlands national team, and head of performance Ruben Peeters.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's title hope took yet another hit as they were held to a 2-2 draw by David Moyes' Hammers on Saturday.

And Feyenoord's versatile defender Lutsharel Geertruida was in attendance as seen on his Snapchat post.

The 23-year-old was sat in the away end among Liverpool supporters, who would have been left disappointed with their side's performance.

Geertruida has played 44 times across all competitions this season for Feyenoord who sit second in Eredivisie.

He has scored seven goals and provided four assists, earning another call up to the Holland squad last month.

Liverpool fell behind to West Ham through Jarrod Bowen's header on the stroke of half-time before Andy Robertson levelled the scoring three minutes after the break.

Klopp's men turned the game on it's head thanks to an own-goal by Areola. Michail Antonio ensured the spoils were shared with a header after 77 minutes.

Liverpool remain third in the table and behind Leaders Arsenal and Manchester City ahead of their matches on Sunday.
