As rumours continue around the future of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, former Real Madrid winger Luis Figo has claimed that the French side will be unable to keep him if he doesn't want to remain.
The Brazilian became the most expensive player of all time when he made the move from Barcelona to the French capital.
However, he has since been linked with a move away and Figo shared his thoughts on that potential move as well as PSG's prospects with Neymar in their ranks.
"Under normal circumstances, I'd say he could become the best in the world because he is an awesome player," Figo told Goal.com.
"But that also depends on the trophies that he can win with his club, such as the Champions League.
"If we are only talking about his individual quality, he is a wonderful player but I don't know if he will stay at PSG or not.
"If a player doesn't want to stay at a team, I don't think that any club can keep them against their will but I don't know what will happen."
One of the clubs who have been linked with a move for his services are Real Madrid but the Portuguese didn't elaborate too much on those reports.
"PSG are obviously a very economically strong club, they are like a state, but in terms of the player market we know that anything is possible in football," he explained.
"Could Neymar go to Real Madrid? It depends on the parties involved and what the market allows."

Figo I'm not surprise at all for what you're saying, i respect your view, but the fact here is, you're one of Real Madrid's Legends, you definitely want Neymar to go Real Madrid. It's true if you want to be the world's best, you must be with teams that can win the champions leaque and most trophies, just be strait and say Madrid, we all know Neymar and the medias been speaking of his return to Barca😀.. I like your propaganda anyway Figo, you're a legend hahaha..

I mean the Legendary Figo himself is quite or should I say very much right...if a player isnt comfortable at a club it will lack the players potential to perform at his fullest for the club ending up in the long run fans being disappointed at the results they are been given due to the player's performance ...I personnal support and look up to neymar as my #1 choice for best football player apart from Ronaldinho.....but i think he should atleast help PSG to win a couple of cups to build his player status n become one of the greats and then he could make a soul decision on tranfering...it is obvious that Neymar loves Spain...n sooner or later a lucky club in La Liga will have him (if they can afford him that is) But for now PSG should do their utmost best to make him as comfartable as possible in Paris
