Roberto Firmino will miss Tuesday's Champions League game against Barcelona at Anfield.
The Brazilian was absent from the first-team squad for Saturday's 3-2 victory over Newcastle due to the muscular injury he sustained in training and won't be back in time.
Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Firmino won't be fit for the semi-final second leg during his post-match press conference at St James' Park.
"He will not be ready for Tuesday and the rest we will see," the coach stated.
