There are many different and contrasting reports about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future, seeing him at Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG or Manchester City, but they all have one thing in common.
The striker’s contract in Turin is due to expire in June 2022 and neither party seems to have any intention of signing an extension.
All that remains to be seen is whether CR7 will see out the deal at Juve or complete a transfer this summer.
The various stories from Italy, Spain, France and Portugal have completely different scenarios and some have already been rebuffed.
Tuttosport maintain today that Ronaldo is more likely than ever to remain at Juventus for the rest of his contract.
On the same morning, the Corriere dello Sport splashed across its front page that the Portugal international had ‘offered himself’ to Manchester City via agent Jorge Mendes.
This would make some sense, as City are desperately seeking a centre-forward and ready to spend €150m on Tottenham Hotspur’s injury-prone Harry Kane.
It is widely believed that Juve would let Ronaldo go for €30m, therefore ensuring they won’t make a loss on his transfer, and be content to push his €30m per season salary off the books.
Meanwhile, there were suggestions in France and indeed from Angel Di Maria that PSG could try to go for Ronaldo in order to form the super partnership with Lionel Messi, but only if Kylian Mbappé forced through his transfer to Real Madrid.
Spanish television show El Chiringuito claimed that it was in fact Ronaldo who would go back to Real Madrid for a reunion with his former coach Carlo Ancelotti.
However, this afternoon Ancelotti confirmed via social media that he has “never asked or planned to sign him this summer.”
Following that comment, Spanish newspaper Diario AS claimed Jorge Mendes had been offering Ronaldo to the Merengues for some time, but they are uninterested in a second chapter.
All of these stories would seem to have one common thread, namely that Ronaldo’s future depends largely not on his own agency, but how the other dominos fall on the transfer market.
If Manchester City can’t get Kane, if Real Madrid can’t get Mbappé or if PSG do lose the France international, the knock-on effect could then involve CR7.

Neither Ronaldo nor his agent has ever said he wants to leave Juve... Juve has never said Ronaldo told them or made it seem like he wanted to leave... Infact, the president has CONFIRMED the relationship is great and he's staying. But then, there's the Media, who just can't live without talking about Ronaldo... I'm sure even after he retires, they'll also make articles about him wanting to come out of Retirement and play for Togo😪

I just dont understand, how can Messi just overthrow cr7 on instagram under a month? It is clear that instagram is pro Messi! Instagram is biased! Af is pro Messi! Madrid is biased, they rejected cr7! Utd is biased they refuse to come for cr7 and psg is the worst ,first they signed Ramos when cr7 agent practically beg them to sign cr7 and later under 24 hours they signed Messi while cr7 was still waiting for a call 📱!This is conspiracy!

People really don't get dumber than you just proven yourself to be. Ronaldo has 328m followers on IG, Messi has 251m. Nobody earns more than Ronaldo from IG either. So how exactly did Messi overthrow Ronaldo on IG? And neither Ronaldo nor his agent has ever showed interest in him leaving Juve so where tf did you get your news? Or are you just desperate for likes to feed you fragile ego?
