The new footballing rich list for 2019 is here, with all the usual suspects still on top of the world when it comes to making their money count

The Soccerex Football Finance 100 for 2019 is out – and there may be one or two surprises floating around this year’s list.

Charting the strongest clubs around the globe in terms of monetary power with an analytical model utilising five variables to deliver a final calculation, the list allows fans to see who packs a punch when it comes to the big bucks.

Through utilising the values of playing assets, tangible assets such as stadiums, cash in the bank, owner potential investment and net debt, the Soccerex Football Finance 100 measures up the powerhouses of world football, ultimately awarding them a Football Finance Index (FFI) score based on the results.

The results this year aren’t too unexpected, with many of the usual suspects rounding out the top 10 – but below, there may be a few more unforeseen teams jostling in the ranks.
