Former Argentina Assistant Coach: Messi shared world cup bonus with federation staff

Former Argentina national team fitness coach Gerardo Salorio was interviewed by Radio La Red - AM 910, where he spoke about Messi.

Salorio stated: "The champions in Qatar all received cash bonuses, and Messi, he equally distributed his bonus among all the staff at the Argentine Football Association building. All staff, including the cooks and cleaners, absolutely everyone, were treated equally.

In fact, he has always been helping out. Since 2006, he and some other players have been helping to maintain the building, but especially in recent years, Messi has done almost everything himself."
